Our national forestry agency has been doing a lot of work in our favourite woods for a month. I understand what they're trying to do to encourage biodiversity but it's hard to see the extent of the cutting. It'll take time to recover. 😔 But nature is resilient. 🌱

We start with a slow run and to be honest, I'm just trying not to fall! After about a half hour of that I like to practice Shinrin-yoku Currently we're tuning into nest building time and the woodland anemones and bluebells are starting to come. We've seen deer, fox, pine marten and lred squirrels.
