Layer 2 on latest watercolor #painting. I began with a quick sketch. Then used muted semi-opaque watercolors to establish simple shapes and contrasts. For today's layer, I switched to a solid opaque bright color palette. #art #spiritchat

Also started another acrylic #painting over the weekend. Phase 1 completed with the underpainting. Next weekend will be completing Phase 2. Finishing up with blocking in the bird and working on the background. #art

I find that for many, awakening doesn't happen unless they are personally impacted by something...or someone they love is or was. #spiritchat

It depends on the purpose. Any many cases, in order to overcome social issues of inequality such as slavery or other injustices, it takes a revolution. Right now, we have an entire system protecting pedophilia. Silence isn't an option. #spiritchat

Like water, people in general tend to follow the path of least resistance because it is easier. (human nature) #spiritchat

There comes a point where the pain of staying the same overpowers the fear and pain of change, and we make some changes and rise to action. #spiritchat

This is a tough question for a myriad of reasons. For me, truth and love are synonymous. Yet, I am also familiar with a biblical phrase that says 'speak the truth in love'. However, truth is not always 'kind'. Right now, we need truth to roar like a lion and that will cut thru darkness #spiritchat

Right now, it might be that we don't so much lose or forget our purpose, but we might me be surrounded by darkness that we are the only lights shining! (individually) - it may feel like our purpose or spirit is getting quenched. #spiritchat

Sometimes people are ignorant of their purpose, or lose sight of it. Awakening means we have become conscious of our p urpose or a purpose in our lives. #spiritchat
