Latest paper deals with #solidstateionics of a doped thioantimonate electrolyte. With highly reactive potassium metal, of relevance for πŸ”‹, we observe stabilization of the interphase and give a suggestion for its morphology. doi.org/10.1016/j.je...

Our new paper once again deals with #battery, #electrolyte, and #ionics. The developed methodology is as general as it gets, while the electrochemical cell is designed for semi-solid electrolytes. Nice collaboration with Uppsala University.

Please read the paper in detail, it is both the capacitance and the maximum frequency of the related semicircle. Doing detailed experiments on many systems helps understanding the underlying processes.

Long term porosity of solid electrolyte interphase on model silicon anodes with liquid battery electrolytes Communications Chemistry - A stable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) is of great importance for battery electrodes for charging/discharging purposes, but the mechanism of SEI formation is not...

In just published Communications chemistry paper, we find long-term porosity of solid electrolyte interphase on model silicon electrodes in contact with lithium πŸ”‹ electrolytes by impedance spectroscopy, even under rest conditions. For details, see: rdcu.be/d39nA
