Played Nightreign and it’s just not for me. Turns out not even an Elden Ring skin can make me enjoy online matchmaking games.

I don’t know if it’s a good game overall or not - I don’t enjoy it enough to find out. But I won’t be buying it.

It would be really funny to see Bed of Chaos or Prowling Magus show up

State of Play Thoughts:

- Borderlands 4 in September. Cool. Randy needs to shave.

- Is there a lowkey stop motion horror trend happening? I’m here for it.

- I guess I finally need to finish Lies of P because that DLC looks sick l.

- Saros looks amazing and will be Housemarque’s Bloodborne

Tested the boundries of time and space before playing Thank Goodness You’re Here for the first time. It was…an eventful day. 8/10 would *cautiously* recommend

Second Platinum of 2025 goes to Returnal. Took a paltry…73 hours 😅

This game is tough as nails but is well worth sinking your teeth into. I still can’t believe a AAA game had storytelling of this quality. Outstanding.

My personal Project 2025 is gonna be finally beating The Outer Wilds

I love the feeling of finding THAT Game.

The one you can’t stop thinking about.

The one you want to cancel all your plans for to play.

The one you want to tell all your friends about.

The one that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Yeah, you know the one.

I get that suffering is an inevitability of life

But

Anyone that pushes suffering as a virtue does not have your best interests at heart

Just rolled the credits on Returnal after playing for two years.

The story is so dense and allegorical that I can’t believe they let it be attached to a major AAA release.

And maybe the best game about trauma/mental illness since Celeste.

Made this before the 20th but it still holds up

Yeah 2025 has saw the blatant return of Na*is and things will probably keep getting worse but I finally cleared Biome 5 in Returnal last night so is it really gonna be that bad?
