Proud to finally present Di's corrupted appearance! I'm so happy with his redesign. In the spirit of my 2026 goals, I'm not going to make the third ref (his "typical" appearance). Instead, I'll depict it in the form of drawings. Hope you enjoy this ref series!

Swivels its head and uses it as an axe to fell mighty trees and build its nests. The axe is also used for self-defense and hunting prey. It can often be observed sharpening its bill on stone.

Wish I'd taken the time to figure out @oskarstalberg.bsky.social's dual grid concept earlier. It simplifies everything so much while also enabling nicer tile shapes.
In short: instead of designing tiles, design the boundary slices between them.
