Are video uploads now part of the API? That's possibly the only thing I think I'll need soon that I didn't see in the docs.
bsky.app/profile/grow... this is what I was doing that lead me to submitting the PR - thanks for doing the heavy lifting!
It's a long weekend here so I've been heads down putting some seeds in dirt as well as reviving the hack project I started back in 2023. growing.shiftkey.online is where this all lives now, and I plan to start scheduled posting to @growing.shiftkey.online once there are signs of life on the mat.
I was too lazy to do a find-and-replace after poking around in the web editor

Neat to see you tinkering on Rust things!
In memory of the great writer Dan McQuade, I wrote about how we spent about fifteen years sending each other really stupid press release quotes. I'll miss him.
PSA: thereβs been an exploit for Signal and WhatsApp released that can be used to silently track you.
Temp fixes for both can be done in your settings:
For WhatsApp: Settings>Privacy>Advanced>Block unknown messages.
For Signal: Settings>Privacy>Phone number>Who can find me by number>Nobody

I havenβt. But I did try to see if I could downgrade my plan from Starter to Free that was mentioned on the billing site and that part of my admin site seems to be βread-onlyβ. I can poke again later when I have some energy to try again.
From the admin page: "Team created on Jul 8, 2018 (7 years ago)."
Confirming the GitHub App for Netlify was installed for the project ~6 years ago (Feb 2019)
Ultimately this is just a quality of life feature for myself (staging branches to be able to review external contributions easier) but as a long time @netlify.com OSS fan I think I'm just going to stop if I can't control the billing side of things for this side project
Looks like this isn't a new thing, and ultimately didn't change this behaviour back in 2020 answers.netlify.com/t/billed-bef...
December 31 - Automated email indicating Netlify will bill me due to build minute usage "Your build minutes usage on your team (Brendan Forster's team) has reached 50% of the current allowance in your billing cycle from December 8 to January 8. If build minutes usage goes over the allowance before the end of the billing cycle, weβll add an extra build minutes pack for $7, increasing your allowance by 500 minutes for the current billing cycle. Alternatively, you can increase your build minutes allowance to 25,000 minutes/month by upgrading to Pro, which is free for the first month if itβs your first time on Pro. Visit the pricing page to compare plans. You can check current usage details in the Netlify UI."
January 1 - Automated email from Netlify indicating they've billed me "Based on your usage so far this month, weβve billed you for an additional Build Minutes usage package on account Brendan Forster's team. This means you can now: - Use an additional 500 build minutes in this billing cycle Find out more in your dashboard."
January 9 - Automated email from Netlify indicating that they plan to suspend my projects "The billing cycle for your subscriptions has ended. Your sites will be suspended after 28 days. To process your payment and keep your sites up and running, please provide a valid credit card for Brendan Forster's team immediately."
It seems Netlify upsold me automatically for an OSS side project while I wasn't checking my email over the holidays and are now going to suspend me for not paying for the thing I didn't ask for. Guess that's a thing I need to turn off next month...
