it's very well known that the CBS procedural and sitcom audience skews senior in those TV ratings but that people love to put procedurals/etc on and stare at the TV. that's why stuff like Suits will occasionally "become big" on streaming.
i also am not sure why we're supposed to be shocked or amazed that the same dumb trash that has been watched is being watched now? the dumbest part of this is the idea that people in the northeast and california don't watch them or whatever
i don't really think it's accurate to post anything that is linear-TV based and say it's "average [country]" audience at this point
