Oh dang, I just fucked around and accidentally learned that Caligula probably wasn’t that bad and was the victim of propaganda.

I was gonna do a Caligula one but I don’t know enough and would have had to google, which felt unearned. I just think the name is funny.

I swear this is not me saying “not all white women” but some of us have changed and it’s because of the work of Black activists. Work you shouldn’t have to do, but deserve credit for. I’ve been able to open the eyes of people in my circle because of that work.

Am I reading this completely wrong? The way I read it is that 2 counter protesters threw devices that seemed to be a type of smoke bomb based on the description, but the potential IEDs were in front of the mayor’s residence.

I read the Alphabet Squadron books but I have not gone into the sequel era. In that case, I’ll put TLJ higher priority than Eventually 😂 My favorite books so far have all been from the Rogue One era. I still need to read Mask of Fear. I’m waiting for it get on Thrift Books for cheap.

I loved the character, and I also love the actress. They wasted her in the Marvel universe, and cancelled Willow. I want more of her in those spaces. She’s so good.

Ok thanks! I read Rogue One and liked it, I have the Phantom Menace one because everyone raves about it but I haven’t read it yet. I’m skipping around. Right now I’m on book 2 of the Legends Thrawn trilogy and then I think I might hop into the prequel era. I’ll put Solo on my Eventually list lol.

Is the novelization good? I’ve only started reading the books relatively recently (I’ve maybe read like 8 or 9?) so i basically go entirely off recommendations from random people on social media lol.

I’m not totally sure if this is what you’re looking for but I haven’t hated a movie as much as Mickey 17 in a long time; I could write a thesis on it, and I also can’t figure out how to fix it. It tried to do way too much, and it barely tried. Just a giant mess.

So yeah this is obviously a nothing story since his version of “leaving the party” is completely meaningless but what I did learn is that every time I think Nancy Mace can’t get any crazier, she finds 3 more extra steps to levels I didn’t know existed.

Yeah, he is kind of the exception that proves the rule. He basically can’t stop making money. If he farts, he makes money. He doesn’t exploit people to get more. And he gives probably as much away as his financial planners will let him, almost as fast as he earns it.
