Abstract digital piece (procreate) inspired by the two years I lived in my previous home that we discovered was mold infested about two years into renting there. We could never figure out what was wrong until water flooded our basement and those dispatched to fix it found lifetimes of black mold growing throughout the bottom and sides of the home. A piece I want to expand on more once I have the energy. A piece full of flashes of fear and painful memories and realization.

Ruined.

Seriously. I have to actively fight against the discomfort. It’s not comfortable being openly positive when most things surrounding you are negative. It’s an active choice to lean into it, believe it, and spread it.
