Four buses passed before one finally stopped. It’s now 8:44 and I’ll be ten minutes late for work, even though I arrived at my stop on time and followed live tracking. The real price you pay for using Metro isn’t the fare: it’s being late and annoying your workmates.
Three “Not in service” buses have already gone past! My original scheduled bus left early and didn’t wait for its scheduled departure time once at the stop, and now the next few are delayed. I was using live tracking and still failed! No wonder most just give up and drive…
Remind me again why the empty, inbound Metro buses returning from the Taroona High run can’t pick up passengers along Sandy Bay Road on their way back to the Moonah depot? They have to pass through the CBD anyway…
