Because, never mind the weird telltale slow motion walk camera zoom thingy they all have going on... the faces are the SAME.

I can tell it's AI by the generic, perfect, Main Character face before anything else even happens.

Anyways. Rant over. 🫠

So... do people not know that the book trailers and character art they're praising as AMAZING is AI?

Cause I keep seeing it and it's upsetting, but I'm a non confrontational person and can't bring myself to leave the "It's AI" comment, but

Do they not know? Or do they not care?

Now that I am settled in a suburb that I love, I will absolutely be expanding my collection of physical books again. Stay tuned for updates.

I have moved a lot in my life. Towns, states, countries, you name it. And books being the heavy, space taking chonkers that they are, did not fit in particularly well with my life choices.

Most of the books I own are ebooks and most of my reading is done on my phone.☺️

A bit too "Disney". Both things that Lies that Bind are not. Both things that my art style always seems to gravitate towards.

Nevertheless, here he is.

Maybe I'll work on making him less "cute". Maybe I'll give in and colour him instead. :)

I've hesitated to share this one because I'm not entirely *happy* with he turned out. I like the sketch, as a sketch, but I don't fully like it for Lies that Bind.

Why? It feels a little bit too cute.
