My heart goes out to people that had to leave Bioware today.

Enough, I say!
The proletariat must rise, not just for bread, but for the cheese to complete the sandwich! Let there be wheels for all, wedges for the many, and fondue pots in every home.
You, my dear proles, have a world of dairy to gain.
The history of all hitherto existing societies is the history of cheese oppression. From the first wheel of Manchego to the latest artisanal vegan spread, the means of cheese production has been held hostage by the elite, who hoard the finest blocks while the masses must settle for string cheese.
It is high time that cheese be liberated from the clutches of the bourgeois dairy oligarchs and distributed freely to all who hunger for its savory goodness.
Where is the party in opposition that has not decried the tyranny of overpriced Brie? Where is the opposition that has not been drowned in the creamy tides of Camembert?
My cheesy manifesto:
A specter is haunting the dairy aisle - the specter of Free Cheese. All the powers of old culinary Europe have entered into a holy alliance to exorcise this specter: Gouda and Parmesan, Pecorino, even Cheddar itself.
hmm
I always wonder if the people who say they wouldn't touch someone with a ten foot pole every say, "I'd like to touch that person with a ten foot pole. Let me get my pole."

2024 feels like several years smacked into one. I aged in ways that even the dictionary gave up on to phrase.
No idea who made the sega logo sound but you continue to scare me every time that logo pops up.
I just realized that where I am moving, my address translates to Little hill, and it feels very hobbity and I am pleased.
Two black cats sleeping on a cat bed. One has her head on top of the other.
My two cats. Missy and Moxie. They are relaxing while I work.
It was a bit funny seeing BG3 win the awards. It felt somewhat tepid when we announced BG3 and released it in Early Access. Now, seeing the awards, I feel a lot of vindication.
I wrote Plato's Cave on a cardboard box, placed it outside, and watched as cats went inside and refused to leave.
These articles about my work on Baldur's Gate 3 are pretty wild to see. While I am humbled, a lot of fantastic people worked on BG3 that made it what it is.

Purple graphic with text over most of it and a photo of a tabby kitten in a plush jack-o-lantern on the right side. The text reads: "Halloween safety tips for cats Be mindful of decorations - keep fire hazards, fake webbing, and wires out of cats' reach. Provide cats a quiet area - choose a quiet, sealed off room and provide food, litter, and water. No candy for cats! Many halloween candies, especially chocolate, are toxic to cats. Microchip your cat. A microchip will help you reunite should a cat dart out the door. Your love costumes, your cat doesn't. Respect your cat's feelings and don't force on a costume."

I added the snoring to the long rest scenes, thinking it would never be approved. It was a silly joke. Side note: If animals or monsters sleep in that scene, they will also snore. It just proves the level of autonomy you have at Larian. #baldursgate3 #bg3 www.thegamer.com/baldurs-gate...
The fireball sound effect for BG3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8M_.... It took me a bit to get it right, and with the help of amazing co-workers, I did get it right.
Bought an espresso machine. The entire house smells perpetually of coffee...
The last thing I expected working on Baldur's Gate 3 was that it would create a discourse.
