Everything you subscribe to should have to send you a notice once every six months or a year reminding you that you subscribe to this thing, and are you ok to carry on subscribing. If not, you should be able to click a button and unsubscribe immediately.

Current state of things. The new mattress is indeed ultra firm. I'm sleeping well but my legs, especially my thighs, ache. So I've spent more money on a mattress topper. Obviously I also got some sheets, pillows and pillow cases too.

For mastodon I use phanpy on desktop which does a pretty good job of collapsing threads. Might see if there's a mobile client that can do similar for this service. I had to unfollow Cory Doctorow it was so bad.

Today's peeve that has bubbles to the surface: long threads on services such as this. Write a blog post and link to it already. I don't want my feed to suddenly become a one man show of numbered posts.
