I share your cynicism and assumed they used the word “casual” to temper expectations of the breadth of what it’s capable of.
Ai seems to find the uncanny valley of all it touches. I assume the games it makes will be the same. Just a vague approximation of a game with zero attention to detail.

Yea I was talking with a buddy of mine about Ai slop - it’s just the average of everything. It’s based on patterns and what’s most common so the output will by design always be an average design. The median of “art”. Just highly rendered bland designs. Reality will always be the best inspiration.
