Variety mooncakes in a metal box

Oh thatβs interesting, now that some newer brands have seen a lot of success embracing more premium minimalism in their products/stores, that might be translating to premium brands on the web too π€
What have you seen? :0
An open-spec recommendations / expert-id system would make algorithmic ranking for trustworthiness using pay to win / SEO spam so much harder if search was re-aligned to make use of it. Loved the ideas in this talk.
With all the innovation happening around ATProto at the moment Iβm excited by the backlinks / comments concepts, already seeing comment sections via Bluesky scripts pop up on npm.
Amazing talk, thanks!
Salem (black cat) wrapped in a blanket, hiding.
Itβs one of those days
Hazel the black cat (Salemβs little sister) in the office staring up at the shelves. A neon-pink and blue strip light surrounds the desk and gives everything a pink hue.
A low shot of the office walls, with skateboards and vinyl on the walls. Featuring Space Gooseβs βSpace Ramenβ print in the centre.
I have an awesome Space Ramen print from @spacegooose.bsky.social in my little office, makes me smile every time I walk in π€©
The cat in action :P
Love seeing fellow dog-cats :D
What gif pops up when you type in your name?
(I scrolled past a LOT of South Park for this)
I use the mute settings for this, you can mute words for a fixed time (up to 30 days) or forever π
Artist vs Art
He should have installed a drain to go along with the sink π
Got stuck in my head too, everything about the show is top tier. Canβt wait for season 2!
Is that the frame TV on top too? Looks goood π€©
Very similar looking and I mistook the cornstarch for sugar π
I thought they were Welsh cakes at first, they look so good π
Itβs good to run it every few weeks too as there have been so many people moving over :)
Design and tech twitter acolyte, I barely ever posted but keeping up with everyone, liking stuff and sharing articles / insights offline was my shy-kid way of being part of the scene. Feel free to follow me back, Iβm making more effort to avoid just hitting βlikeβ here π
Sick decks dude π€
The best kind of code :D
Had a go at working with the Bluesky API, It's a little rough around the edges especially with OneOf types and quirkyness with embeds I still need to understand, but it didn't take long to get going with it.
It's been ages since social media was this open π
Got an update π
I have a hacky version working using IFTTT to read an RSS feed generated on-demand with an api route in next.js.
It logs in with an app password, gathers all of the account's likes, and then formats and outputs them to XML. Still tweaking the script but... it's something π
Great points here. There was a really fun talk at ServerlessDays Cardiff this year from Sarah Hamilton and @lukehedger.bsky.social that went over a similar theme; bugs are inevitable, so putting an emphasis on observability to catch those bugs and fix them is worth more long term than 100% coverage.
π― sometimes the best way out for me without making things worse is to just stash the work, reset back to a good commit, and apply the stash.
Resolving issues with arcane git magic isnβt worth the hassle, conflicts, etc when thereβs work to get done π«
Damn I was just starting to get used to Arc π¬
