6 months ago he said he’d been misrepresented and had apologised the day after the Sun article. What we now see is that actually he doubled down on his claim and DID think he could grow boobs. He’s a charlatan. If another party’s MP did similar I’m sure you’d be all over it!

This is a good article. What’s striking is that the critics like Emily Bender come across more like ideologues than people who actually understand what they’re criticising.
There’s plenty in AI to critique but many on the left are doing a bad job at doing so.

I think AI is unlikely here. Whilst it can be formulaic it just isn’t this bad. I suspect this is a bad use of a template that purposefully uses hedging language for legal reasons (perhaps because investigation is ongoing).
Honestly I think the opposite is true. This reads more like some kind of template was poorly used and edited, with language that’s purposefully hedging for some kind of official/legal reason. If AI was drafting these I’d expect them to be more polished than this. It wouldn’t write that badly.
Food banks exist because food is a biological necessity. No one is ending up in A&E because they can’t afford a Substack subscription. The analogy collapses the moment you apply any scrutiny to it.
