Looking at that list I think I could maybe make it faster to draw a line of books with effects I didn't have back then. Someday I will have reason to experiment.

It is indeed! After a spate of doing several library scenes I sat down and documented what my workflow had become refined to, so I don't have to worry about forgetting it, or reverse-engineering it from source files.
