We had a complicated relationship, and a sad breakup (over a year ago now), but we have never been cruel or uncaring towards one another and we continue to love each other very much and we are really, really great friends who are always there for each other. She is so wonderful and silly and sweet and I do not want anyone to think she mistreated me or manipulated me or god forbid abused me. We are grown adults who make our own decisions using our heads and hearts; despite whatever reason you don't like her, or violated my trust if I confided in you, there is no justification for talking shit behind her back, or insulting me in the process by implying I didn't have agency in that very good decision.
