This Women's History Month, I'm thankful for all the remarkable women who I've had the pleasure of serving with, from local government to Congress. Women have made great progress during my time in public service, and I have no doubt we will continue to make our voices heard.

Our immigration court system simply cannot be impartial nor effective as long as it remains under the DOJ and the executive branch. That’s why I’ve introduced a bill with @raskin.house.gov, @hankjohnson.house.gov, and @repdangoldman.bsky.social to create an independent immigration court system.
I strongly condemn this violent attack on Sunday in San Jose. Antisemitism has no place in our city nor does any form of hate. I support our local police investigating this crime and ensuring those responsible are held accountable.

It was wonderful to welcome our California State Senators and President Pro Tem Monique Limón to DC last week! Our Democratic legislators at the state and federal levels are united and working to lower costs and protect Californians from Trump’s toxic agenda.
Trump is continuing to waste time trying to undo his 2020 election loss, even when REPUBLICAN election officials in Arizona testified that the official vote count was accurate. He’s more focused on hiding his own failures and than he is on lowering costs for Americans.
I’m glad we’re finally honoring our heroes who saved the Capitol on January 6th. As a member of the J6 Select Committee, I was proud to already have the plaque hanging outside my office. Unlike Republicans, I didn’t hang it up at 4am.
