Reminds me of the really crap 1980s dial up BBS.

Eventually.
85k into the second book. Trying to finish so can edit it all together to be sure they are coherent with callbacks/hints tied in.
That's the theory.

Wanted to do some solid writing today. Plotwise the section is planned, it just wasn't working.
Sigh.
800 words written and rewritten and still not right.
I feel like typing 'fix this later you idiot, try the next bit and see if thats more inspiring'

The cover for ROSES IN AMBER, a retold version of Beauty and the Beast by CE Murphy, features a headshot of a lovely young woman with her gaze downcast. She's surrounded by roses, and a threatening arch with glowing eyes is in the darkness behind her. Cover art and design by Fringe Element.

Just put my #motorcycle up for sale. Change of circumstances with Mrs K's health.

Looking at going contracting and need to be in the best cash position I can. We are already debt-free and in a good position, but if I want to change, I need to make sacrifices.

Sad. I love this bike.

it seems with piracy capitalism there has to be a certain number of unemployed or the entire sytem crashes. so instead of despising those heros, pay them to be unemployed for a forty-hour and time and a half for weekends and holidays, and declare a national holiday to honor them.

I’ll always trust the findings on Robodebt from Commissioner Catherine Holmes, who led a commission of integrity, who didn’t hold hearings in secret, over & above the findings of the NACC, led by Paul Brereton who works in the shadows with conflicts running through his veins.

Imagine a child decades from now, standing in a barren field, looking at a history book. They will see photos of giantsβ€”trees that stood before empires roseβ€”and they will ask us: "You knew they were the lungs of the planet. You knew they were ancient. Why did you let them die?"

Grammarly Is Facing a Class Action Lawsuit Over Its AI β€˜Expert Review’ Feature The feature, which Grammarly shut down Wednesday, presented editing suggestions as if they came from established authors and academicsβ€”without their consent.

I'm suing Grammarly over its paid AI feature that presented editing suggestions as if they came from me - and many other writers and journalists - without consent.

State law requires consent before someone's name can be used for commercial purposes.

You can get high temp resist paints in bright yellow, white etc at auto shops
$20 or so.

Spot test on the fan first of course in case of plastic melt, but its an option.

Also good for marking stairs/height changes
