Over at the newsletter I wrote about how establishment Democrats' problem isn't going "too far left" on "identity politics," it's being feckless invertebrates in the face of autocracy and unchecked corporate power.
The core revelation here is that Trump has lost the public *on the mass deportations themselves* and not just on ICE's brutal tactics. We have been arguing this for months but media has simply refused to acknowledge it. Now so obvious that it can't be avoided
If you haven't figured out that DHS/ICE are the Gestapo yet, this is a pretty solid clue
they like trump and want to help him rule us, and making this a huge, days-long "drumbeat" story wouldn't help trump so they don't do that thing.
The Democratic party is as unpopular as it is because its own voters find the party feckless and weak.
