I'm trying to post less about Bojack Divorceman these days but "I did a poo that broke the toilet and then denied doing the poo" fits his personality exactly. Good lord I hate this cunt.

Without putting too fine a point on it, what these Evangelical Christians are saying is that if Jesus did come back they'd kill him again for being too woke

Labour is losing voters to progressive parties disproportionately.
And they are not mainly "lanyard" professional or working classes, the oppositional forces of Blue Labour and right discourse.
It's squeezed millennials in service careers.
Which our politics ignores.
• Demographically, most progressive defectors are frustrated lower middle class Millennials - not affluent urbanites or a PMC 'lanyard class. Though they have liberal social values, many are frustrated graduates; Millennials with a mortgage or rent they are struggling to afford - primary school teachers, IT support or clerical workers. In short, the face of the modern social democratic voter.

Speaking as a lower middle class graduate with an office job and a mortgage, born in the late seventies, I would say: this is half my social circle and most of the people I worked with for years. How in the name of Christ did nobody in politics or media see this coming?

I remember being told of examples of Whedon’s supposed examples of empowerment with his women characters and looking at those examples from a cishet male POV and thinking “no, that’s not what he’s *really* doing. He largely just finds it hot”.

06.03.2026 07:08 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

For a very long time Whedon set off my “absolute wrong’un” alarms even back when he was put on a pedestal by all and sundry. It’s never nice to be proven right with these things. Did he ever make any apologies or try to improve or is it a case of hoping the passage of time washes away all sins?

PS it was Fiona Bruce who said #GreenParty policy is to leave NATO, and it was about 17 minutes into the show.

In the grand scheme of things, I think announcing God is telling you what policy to pursue while in power is a bit more dangerous than making someone think their tits have grown. I’m radical like that.

The boob hypnosis thing is being brought up by the Sensibles again to paint Zack as a crackpot which would be desperate on its own. But when you have a cabinet member saying unhinged shit like this with his full chest, it’s wilful ignorance.

Also, the boob hypnosis stuff is misinformation put out by The Sun. A journalist asked him specifically to make her *think* her boobs had grown, he initially refused but agreed to try it. Cool to see Smart Thinkers(tm) run with that.

I like Tati’s stuff a lot but his pacing was awful - his films often feel a lot longer than they actually are. Trafic is the worst for this, however PlayTime is quite cold and mechanical by design which doesn’t help. It’s worth sticking with, but watching it in chunks is also the best way.

Explosions in British airbase

I'll use one of the Keir Unit's go-to phrases—let me be clear: by supporting this US war of aggression to save your own ass & kiss that of your Orange pædo-adjacent master, you have put Britain in the cross-hairs.

You will never be forgiven for this & your name will be in the dirt for all time.

The pre-retool Parallel 9 is one of the weirdest, most ambitious set-ups for a kid's SatAM magazine show, and if nothing else, should be lauded for that alone.
