I really love this song, I was worried it was a bit too much like a proper song when I wrote it, itβs not very skronky, despite the weird scale and being in 7. That ending really makes it for me, we wrote that outro set of lyrics sat in the park by a pond trading lines.

Dipping into late January but would also recommend both "As of Now" by Lord Jah-Monte Ogbon (think motormouthed Southern rapper on the sort of beats they usually give MIKE or Earl) and "Kilter" by Tinned Meats (sound sort of like "Beat" era King Crimson with a little Gang of Four in there).

That clattering post-punk sound that crawled out of mid-80s Industrial Britain was unique, chaotic and glorious. Quite how Sheffieldβs Tinned Meats recreated that and invested it with gorgeous melodies, angular rhythms, and magnificently uncanny lyrics is beyond me. I'm just happy they did.
There were only 5 left when my order came in. Excellent album!
Pre-ordered the vinyl this morning having read your praise of this. Listening to the download now and it is fantastic. Doesn't really sound like anyone else in particular yet feels welcoming and familiar.
