I'm honored. π
May the fireflies whisper you to wonderful dreams!
People keep telling me to read this! Was it worth it?
Firefly stories are legendary, but they donβt weave words for anyone.
They only invite you to their glittering gatherings, cinemas of dancing lights, if you recognize them, dull and sleepy, during the day.
Letting one crawl along my finger and doze on the cuff of my sleeve, I think I understand.
Of course!
*guilty noises*
It gives Moving Castle vibes. A friendly church tower, scuttling out of the mist.

Me: better do it again. For science.
Friends, dragging me along like a plushie won from a claw machine: this is our cryptid and we love her very much. sometimes she says the strangest things about cabbages
Me: hello :3
Casually saying something that seems ordinary and rational, like βwhy canβt I eat the sunβ or βI wanna live in that treeβ
whilst my friends: πππ
Yes, you could make friends with people who think youβre perfectly normal, but I would argue there is a distinct advantage to befriending people who recognize you are weird and are DELIGHTED by the strange things you say.
My friend is a little over 1/10th of the way to her goal. Donate if you can. And if you canβt, consider sharing this. She could really use the help.
I hope by the time you read this, you will be well rested.
I hope you have an excellent sunrise, and the little beauties of life throw themselves in your path.
I hope your burdens, however heavy, can every day be a little lighter than they were before, and good things bring quiet joy to your heart.
That does sound very nice.
Always keep a song in your heart and a dagger on your hip, is what my granny used to say.
No one ever messed with her at karaoke, believe me.
JEFF YES :D
My nearest neighbor brings me stories of all the songs she hears from her tree of birds. She has a sketchbook full of colorful featherfriends we page through during tea.
But I am happiest of all, living in a cottage no one wanted, swamped by honeysuckle, hearing secrets from the bees.
Good prompts are worth waiting for. βΊοΈ
idk how else to explain the takeout containers appearing around the garret that are definitely Not Mine.
Clearly a mothman.
Me: and what did we say?
Mothman, mumbling: if you have a lightbulb rave
Local crow, passionately dunking a red plastic cup into the garbage: THROW YOUR TRASH AWAY
Oooh. :D
A linocut print of a black leopard (or panther) with the words βHAVE YOU SEEN THIS CREATURE?β underneath. Itβs printed in black ink on off-white paper.
I made this linocut print as a tribute to the hundreds of mysterious big cat sightings reported every year in Britain. Have you seen this creature?
Digital pastel illustration. A sea serpent makes it way through the water, crossing in front of a blood moon. Itβs nighttime and foggy.
Morgawr, Sea Serpent of Falmouth Bay.
Never underestimate the power of a good story.
Very glad to hear you have one just now! :)
