Exactly: "shared clinical decision-making" arose in the 1980s in reaction to paternalistic med. Typically used for complex med. decisions, not safe & effective vaccines.

Annenberg poll in Aug.: 1-in-5 thought it means "taking the vaccine may not be a good idea for everyone but would benefit some."
