In Azure console I was spinning up a new SQL Server and it told me the name as already taken. I added some more text to make it unique, but it insisted THAT was also taken. It was not. I deleted the entire string and re-entered it exactly the same and it was fine. That was syntax gaslighting

FWIW, Amazon engineers (as in those working on the store, prime video, Alexa, etc), are VERY aware of cost. When I was a Solutions Architect there, it came up all the time
