I believe Kat is progressive. I believe that she could be a fighter.

But will she be an ally to POC? Or will she continue to prioritize her proximity whiteness like many other online leftists?

Even just the idea of moving to somewhere new and immediately running for Congress instead of choosing to uplift other Black and Brown progressives who have already been doing the work is a major red flag for me

Especially when said POC progressives have repeatedly expressed their discomfort

- associating with other online leftists who have been called out for anti-Blackness, such as Hasan or therealcornpop

- accidentally attending an anti-Popeyes protest (and then lying about it afterwards?)

- undermining the accomplishments of other progressive candidates with the "I'm the only candidate who _____" rhetoric

I’m skeptical of Kat bc of her actions, including:

- conflating “you just moved here criticisms” w/ anti-Palestinian racism

- using Nancy Pelosi kneeling for George Floyd as an example of “Democrats sucking” when she herself is not Black

- not denouncing the Devon Ave boycotts

I know Mike and Bushra will be outspoken about anti-blackness based on their interviews and record. I know Biss will based on his record.

If I could only choose between the top two, I would feel very torn.
