Gods, yes! I consider myself quite jaded from experiences in different fandoms.

But that feeling of a new adventure, the enthusiasm, just being happy and giddy and curious and excited to see where this goes and unable to decide where to start with all that energy, that's always there.

current issue fits into patterns that have been around for a while.

A shame, given the massive sandbox the game offers to everyone.

All because some can't keep scrolling, can't communicate, or don#t want to because they can't have it when others have fun in different ways.

I feel sorry for those who have their hobby/passion/escapism ruined (hopefully only temporarily) because of unnecessary and unjustified entitlement.

Man, that's especially sad and stupid because it's so unnecessary. From what I read, it sounds like just another case of a couple of folks who made their opinion/taste the law instead of finding a working solution that makes nobody unhappy, and now nobody can have nice things.

Saw someone say that said life can already be too sad and miserable, and fandom shouldn't also make us feel that way, it's so true.

This is our escapism, where we come to play dolls, make art and connect with others. So curate your spaces and have fun, don't be afraid to reach out & get involved.

no magic or mystery about writing, just like there isn't about any other creative outlet. It has its up and downs, and everyone decides for themselves if the ups are worth the downs.

However, nothing is set in stone, so if you ever have a change of feeling, please

whole thing and necessary when you aren't a good writer and/or write the wrong things and/or have a style that only you yourself enjoy.
All that said, I'm sure you can replace writing with drawing, VP, pixel art, song writing, what have you.

Personally, I love to have a look at early fics of
