the ios reminders app is so useful for having a 'repeat every x days' function. makes keeping track of shot day super easy, especially when the calendar app completely fails to pop notifications for events randomly

spongebob is actually a freak in that game. i was making home alone kevin face at my monitor i could not believe the shit he was saying and how he was saying it
realizing now the scorpy stream i watched last night was not a dream but actually a real thing that happened. good god that spongebob game is fucked up
hmm. the 40k marines model swap was all i’d seen or heard of this, i didn’t know it was a factory game. i’ll take a look
it does look kinda neat but i played way too much last month. other objections aside i really do need to find something else to do with my time lol
the duality of Polish games: beautiful, enthrallingly bleak atmosphere and uh the other thing
weird how the number of achievements the base game has and the amount of u235 that auto-loads into a centrifuge for the enrichment process bearing the dev’s name is the same number
reached the point in Factorio where i gotta give the dev more money to progress but i’m a little skeeved out by a few things soooo maybe time for a different game
3 day forecast showing highs between -1 and -6C, lows between -13 and -14C
*looking around* spring? spring? could use some spring right now
i miss the sense of purpose. hope i still have a job in a month, i can’t imagine construction projects thrive if gas is a buck a litre
weird to think two months ago i was getting up at 3:50am and crushing 50hr weeks (that were really more like 60hr weeks with the commute). now i’m just laying around killing time while i wait for the go ahead to start rehabbing my knee
games i was unhealthily obsessed with in childhood/elementary school: from top left to bottom right: Crash Bandicoot: not really sure why. i guess because i had a friend with an insane home theater setup and i went over there a lot to play PS1 with him Goldeneye 007: well this game simply fucks. kinda bad by today's standards but if you mess with the controller scheme you can get sorta-twinstick aim and it still goes. if you use remote mine a+b glitch in multiplayer you're scum Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: a "friend" lent me his copy and i played it through all the way up to Ganondorf. then i told him i'd gotten to Ganondorf and he was like 'oh i want it back now' lmao. never beat it. also had a formative moment playing it where i got hopelessly lost and confused in Jabu Jabu's Belly, went and got a gamefaqs guide to figure out what to do next and immediately felt terrible for it. i still think that unless it's a Terraria-like using a guide to play through a game is functionally just filling out a checklist and about as satisfying Roller Coaster Tycoon: trainers and the crazy custom track/mod community that existed in the day gave this game a lot of longevity. sadly rather broken, mostly because if you have looping paths it fries the guest pathfinding and craters your park rating as everyone whines they can't leave Motocross Mania: see above post Halo: not much to say here. this shit was beyond crazy if you were 11/12 in 2001 the way i was Counter-Strike Condition Zero: the campaign was mid but the bot 'career' thing where you hired dudes to fight alongside you was cool. also cut my pc mp fps teeth in scoutzknivez and towercar and other fucked 1.6 maps here, i still have screenshots of the first time i managed a positive kdr City of Heroes: i liked smashing up the cities, game was ok. not really sure why this one captivated me so much Half-Life 2: oh fuck dude. it looks like real life. again, if you were 13 in 2004 this was the most insane shit ever to exist
pc games i played a lot of in elementary school from top left to bottom right Caesar II: plebs are needed A-10 Cuba!: this shit sucked pretty bad. but i did figure out how to take off and bomb my own base so that was entertaining at least MSFS 98: my favourite thing to do circa 1998/9 was pick the 747 and fly it horizontally between the twin towers. lol Roller Coaster Tycoon: you know what's up Pharaoh: hippos in tutus rampaging Lego Stunt Rally: this fuckin owned. bot races AND a course creator? and the course creator is so robust that you can make shit that straight up breaks the bot ai? hell yeah. Motocross Mania: this had some neat tracks, Havok physics and an eject button so you bet i spent way too long crashing in insane ways. also if you held the eject button your biker would fly up into the sky groin first which was funny Ski Stunt Simulator: hard as fuck but you could do some cool shit. spent a billion years fucking around on the level with the destructible bridge and bombs Bookworm Deluxe!: a classic of gaming right here. you will learn what qua means, and you will love qua
i figured they wouldn't attack things that don't create pollution but they have attacked sections of rail near mines so idk. also i kinda like having separate power infrastructure, imo it makes managing demand easier. b/c drills are so power-intensive and stop/start as trains come and go
Factorio base, one main factory surrounded by satellite mining depots connected by rail. a bidirectional trunk line runs to the south and west of the base, joining the oil, copper and iron mines. oil travels on a dedicated rail (i'll join it up to the trunk eventually), coal the same. uranium is supplied by a northern mine on separate rail as well as a trunk spur to the south. all defended by laser turrets, gun turrets using uranium-tipped ammo and mobile as well as fixed artillery. main factory power is nuclear supplemented by solar/battery, power at mines is self-contained solar/battery because fuck running that many power poles that the bugs'll just eat anyways
this game is great if you need to fast-forward to 2am for some reason
knee look like a damn football
i gotta talk to the compounding pharmacy about my ev, last script they shorted me by ~.1ml so i can't quite get enough for the last dose in each vial (for dumbass reasons i can only get ev via compounding and it's only in quantities of 1ml @ 20mg/ml)
man it's such a fucking good thing the liberals didn't get a majority last election. not only would they have rammed through those dogshit surveillance bills, they'd probably be sending military support for the Fifth Reich right now
cool how the political spectrum in Canada is "neolib warmonger who is ambivalent about social conservativism" and "neocon warmonger who isn't"
so glad my prime minister can support the senile pedophile’s illegal war. Good shit sir, he definitely won’t do this to you in ~2 years or whenever he gets bored next
once i can use this knee again i’m gonna build a wardrobe and then It’s On. new era
very cool how my face completely changes shape if i sit adhd-style for too long. unfortunate that the shape it assumes is “no good” but i suppose that’s motivation to be mindful of better posture
we’re getting “What’s the point in walking when there’s the Segway?” fluff pieces for AI. not long now
lmaooo i’m not gonna be back to work until like may. fuck
well i got the staples out. pretty gnarly but surprisingly painless. 4 more weeks in this brace though, that suuuuucks
i wonder what happened to @me_irl on twitter. he seemed to be having a lot of problems then he sorta disappeared
aaa i suck at Terraria. can't even beat the easiest hardmode boss. huge skill issue
going to the CanCon store and asking the receptionist if it’s representative or just Toronto and they say ‘it’s a good show ma’am’ and i look inside and it’s Toronto
asked a streamer who was complaining about colour smearing what kind of panel his monitor had and he didn't even know what that was 😭
