and this is just an added side note: photographers who only shoot one specific body type, ones that have no diversity in models, ones that want to work with only “highly followed” models, or ones that say that you don’t fit a certain criteria? steer clear. all bodies are beautiful and so are you. ♥️

I am very lucky and thankful all of my photographers I’ve worked with have been very upfront, professional and communicative with me from the get go. But please be mindful that there are some out there who don’t have the same professionalism and to be on alert when working with new photographers.

if someone reaches out to you in an unprofessional manner, if they try to make an advance on you in this vulnerable state, if they change a concept to something you last minute that you didn’t agree upon initially, this is not professional and you have every right to communicate that.

so I’ve gotten asked this question a lot with modeling, nude especially, and I feel the need to share this.

During a photoshoot, you have every right to:
-say no
-leave
-set boundaries
-say “this actually isn’t for me”
-take as long as you need to be comfortable
-ask questions
