I struggle a little with Package imports tho, and my god, you can really tell that this is a new and obscure language. There's very little documentation and tutorials on it. But that's understandable, it's a very well designed language and I'm sure it'll take off soon! Can't wait to learn more.

Anyways, first impressions are that I love its style of syntax, used to prefer having the type on the left, but recently I started preferring it on the right.

Odin seems like a really interesting language. Moving constellation (my game framework) over to it from rust. I like rust but I was already using a load of unsafe non-rusty practices and it wouldve just been a constant up-hill battle to use it to develop anything.

Like, If I wanted a long list of color constants (RED, GREEN, CYAN, etc.) Then I could get AI to write all of them for me. AI is perfect at dealing with boring, repetitive stuff like that. I dont see any harm in stuff like that. Same goes for spellchecking/grammar checking in work + stuff like that

For me it depends on how it's used and how much its used. Eg. I use GitHub Copilot all the time for autocompletions and doing stuff like refactoring a huge list of variables and stuff. It's also handy for learning about more obscure concepts. However you shouldn't just make it do everything for you

One time I was scrolling through Discord on my iPad, when I saw a huge spider crawl across my screen. Threw it so it landed screen-first and stood on my chair cowering for a whole 10 minutes before I nervously flipped it over and found out it was GIF someone posted 😂

Thought I'd share a bit about the terrain editing in my little island town building game, since I haven't here.

The terrain is fully editable and supports both smooth surfaces and caves and arches. It automatically makes rocks or grass depending on its shape.
