I used to feel this way a lot, but I as get older, as I develop more as an artist, I realized that everything comes at it's own time and pace.
Sometimes, I need to grow before I'm ready for that story. Write from the scar, not the wound. And as much as waiting can suck, it'll be stronger for it.
