We’ve been having rainy days. My little cube of sugar, in his rain coat, got a half block from home and raced right back refusing to melt further. The sugar cube who has no compulsions about diving into a stagnant duck pond to chase ducks, or trekking through the fjord on walkies.

Crispy crusted, sourdough loaf, covered in toasted sesame and pumpkin seeds. Inside the loaf is speckled with hemp seed.

Spending my time mastering sourdough bread filled with hemp seeds and smothered in pumpkin and sesame seed. These don’t last long. At most, 3 days pass before another one is required. #sourdough

Im just known as Freddie’s mum. I get introduced that way by virtually everyone in my neighborhood to their guests.

I built a small ecosystem. I started with ants, removed grass and filled the area with flowers of all types. Then came the aphids. Sooo many aphids. And then, hover flies. And now ladybugs. #bugs #ecosystem #flowers

Even tho my son is a young adult now, he still needs to remember that one needs to practice new skills to develop and, hopefully, master them. Today, I handed him a giant, dense, sourdough hockey puck from my oven and told him, "I know how to bake bread."
He nodded. I nodded.
Good.

Sun soaking naps started a few weeks ago here when it was only 12C outside. Its much warmer now.
