There were better options available for sure. Not a bad tracklisting though.
What a lovely thing!
Customer service email signatures. I'll start, with one I just received from Octopus Energy:

You've never seen the best camouflage you've ever seen.
Q: Which is best, 5000 Spirits or Hangman's?
A: Wee Tam & The Big Huge
Just drove past the scene on the way home, and I'm afraid it's not a very impressive sight. They did also do the other side, too, so full marks for effort if not presentation. Maybe it was too early.
On my way to Birmingham this morning (at about 04:30am), I was lucky enough to see the lesser-spotted Flag-shagger on the Scole bridge over the Waveney erecting his England flag on the railings. Isn't nature wonderful?
Agreed with all that. The tunes (the main thing) are there, in spades. Rio Grande is amazing.
That Wilson album is ace too.
Stunner!
Just heard this for the first time today. Good lord. A masterclass in arranging and mixing. The sheer number and variety of sounds that are captured so perfectly and which come and go without stepping on each other's toes is remarkable. A tour de force. Great tune, too. youtu.be/QJAshItw-6A?...
They don't seem to have realised they are in a football match.
Fans leaving in the first half is a tough one to take for any manager.
Indeed, it is the laws that are crazy. Designed to spoil the game, not enhance it. Self-destructive nonsense.
Exactly this. Offside was brought in to stop goal-hanging, anything remotely level should be let go. The number of good goals disallowed is disgraceful.
VAR ruining yet another game of football. Offside?! Never.
Could be your best work.
This story could just be a load of old tripe.
He didn't have the heart to tell his boss.
The driver may never liver that down.
This is why I spend a lot of time correcting terrible (IMO) decisions and making my own Revisionist albums. Such is life, labels often don't do themselves any favours in how they present a body of work, but it's usually their money so...
I am all for including properly-finished tracks that could easily have, but for some reason didn't, make the cut. But then, if there was room they should have been included anyway!
Never fill out a side with demos or tracks that are not supposed (according to the artist's vision) to be on the album. I'd rather one side was a bit short than to have the vibe ruined by a demo or, god forbid, a 'live' track. On CDs you can program the shit out, but vinyl should be 'the album'.
I thought the cardamon pods with a 2012 date would be the winners of the oldest shit left in the spice/herb draw, but no. We didn't even move into this house until 2008. This clear-out was clearly overdue.
Haven't listened to either for years, I had the Superfuzz plus Early Singles, which made for an awesome compilation album. Will have to revisit both!
Not to be that guy, but Superfuzz Bigmuff wasn't an album. Their debut album was s/t.
Yes.
Good chance XTC is as good as it gets. Mummer? Horny fucking shit.
Laughed out loud.
