The "Come Race on Our Level" commercial for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a homage to the iconic 1993 Sega Genesis "Blast Processing" commercial.

Most amusingly, both of these commercials mock the Mario Kart franchise, in regards to it's lacking speed and open world gameplay.
