Playing Nights into Dreams with a 3D Control Pad almost transforms the game. It's a lot smoother for one, and given how big the 3D Control Pad is, it'll much much easier on your hands and arms.
Those are my points of advice, hopefully I didn't leave anything out!
The second point is to get a 3D Control Pad to play Nights into Dreams with.
The game is playable with a standard Sega Saturn controller, although at least in my experience, it's a little slippery trying to fly Nights around and it always wears my hand down hard. (cont)
Getting a cartridge, which will have more available space on it than the Saturn's internal memory, will also save a lot of hassle in general.
You'll still have to set the time and date, and you'll have to test to make it sure it works at all, but you'll be able to save your earned progress.
Not only is the internal memory tiny to begin with, but also given the time, it's more than likely the batteries themselves are long dead.
Not only will this force you to set the time and date everytime you power the Saturn on, but you won't be able to save anything. (cont)
The first point is to buy a back-up cartridge (Saturn Backup Memory, Pro Action Replay, etc.)
Note that, unlike the PS1 and N64, the Saturn has internal batteries for the clock, calender, settings and, lest it be forgotten, saving games. (cont)
I purchased Nights into Dreams (along with Myst) with my Sega Saturn last year. It is great fun, and is very arcadey in its presentation.
Two points of advice to those wanting to play Nights into Dreams, especially for those wanting to play it on an actual Saturn console.
A snap of the EMUSA website, the site that I spent the most time on then for downloading roms, with its vaguely Star Trek-alike fond for EMUSA, and a iist of the latest news, along with Top 10, 50 other rom sites.
Plasticman's Emulsation Zone website in the year 2000, with a quite sleek banner and clickable tabs.
The Edge Enu, with a square graphic of Mega Man presenting his arm cannon. The agreements about deleting roms you mistakenly download if ytou don't own the actual game are there above the 'Enter the Edge' hyperlink.
"Got Roms?"
A Wayback look at three of the main ROM websites I frequented in 2000, making careful decisions about what to download on the 4-6kbps internet connection I had access to.
And of course, we all followed through on that agreement to delete the ROMs we downloaded within 24 hours, right?
Here's a heads-up for all #gameboy #romhacking fans.
@marcrobledo.com has been working for the last couple of years on a full #GBC color conversion of "Donkey Kong '94"
The original DID actually feature colors on SGB, in some capacity. But nothing like this!

Pipe Dream/Mania is from 1989.
Bioshock is from 2007.
Bioshock is now older than Pipe Dream was when Bioshock was released lol
I'd argue it's more practical this way, instead of having to slip and slide everywhere.
