The idea that America isn’t for everyone who wants to be an American is something that makes my blood boil. Posting a photo of yourself as a Congressman smiling next to these words is wicked. It’s antithetical to the concept of America.

So many average citizens have stood up to Trump.
Alex Pretti went to the street to protect his fellow humans, who the Trump regime was harming. He lost his life for it. Renee Good lost her life for resisting.
And sorry, but—these fucking cowards in the Senate can’t vote against Trump nominees?
Devastating reporting. Like RFK Jr., Kristi Noem, and Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth is reshaping his department to indiscriminately kill tons and tons of children.
A major throughline of the Trump administration.
how do you not do this before launching a war on iran
Politically, this is incredibly stupid, but as a policy matter it’s also incredibly stupid.
The Democrats!
👀 ICE deported two U.S. citizen children with their mother to Guatemala, even though she had apparently elected to leave them with their grandmother in Florida.

A bit easy. The design is rather distinctive for its era.

You can ask Americans to make sacrifices but you have to convince them why it's necessary, and crucially, you have to do it before the sacrifices are required.
The Trump administration's instinct is to promise everything will be pure upside until it's not and only then scold Americans to be stoic.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has quietly relocated to one of several military bases in the Washington area where other Trump administration officials also live, after facing threats from drug cartels and critics of her actions in handling the Jeffrey Epstein case, according to people familiar with the situation. Ms. Bondi moved from an apartment in the city within the past month in response to an array of threats flagged to her staff by federal law enforcement, these people said, including an uptick in criticism of Ms. Bondi, and threats relayed by investigators. One catalyst was an increase in threats following the capture and prosecution of President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela in January, according to a senior official with direct knowledge of the situation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss security matters.
So Bondi moved into military housing like everyone else. NYT says ONE reason is bc she's in charge of prosecuting VZ's president (weird. Merrick Garland didn't have to hide during JOH prosecution).
Wanna bet that a more pressing one is her shenanigans re Epstein?

In a further sign of the Putinisation of America under Donald, it seems the US military also dismissed the capabilities of the Ukrainian military.
With over 4 years of evidence in front of them, this seems more stupid than us doing it.

Iran is sending more crude through Hormuz NOW than it was before the war — “showing it is in control of a strategic waterway that it has closed off to the rest of the region’s oil producers.”

Murphy: "Literally in my other ear I'm listening to Ted Cruz on another network explain why this mission is so essential to destroy the nuclear program. I may have to walk over there and tell him the admin is now briefing that getting rid of the nuclear program has nothing to do with this mission."
WALLACE: Why are we at war with Iran?
CHRIS MURPHY: Great question. The simplest explanation might be the one they gave 24 hours in that they've kind of tried to backtrack from since -- that Israel made us do it.
Johnson only controls the House and any time longer than three days requires Senate approval. Not saying that couldn't happen, but is something to consider. Bills must also go back to the chamber in which it originated.
It is. There is a 10 day window (not including Sundays) in the Constitution for a president sign or veto a bill. If he doesn't, it becomes law provided that Congress is in session in that 10 day timeframe. If Congress adjourns during that period, then the bill dies.

I rarely do this, but here goes.
Dems should have VERY clear messaging on supplemental tied to the ouster of Whiskey Pete, Jared, and Witkoff. They've all ABSOLUTELY bolloxed the situation and if Trump wants $$, he needs to get rid of all of them.
