My little apple tree had sooooo many apples this year. Apple jelly, dried apples, apple butter … I wish I knew what variety my apple tree is, but was planted by grandpa when I was small and I have no earthly idea.

Some days if feels like the whole world is on fire, or maybe we are just walking off into the sunset. Everything feels amplified. Photos- yesterday’s sunset from my backyard.

Ok yes I’ll admit I have a problem. But this is a delightful 1850-1860s sunbonnet with a HUUUGGGEE skirt. But if I don’t rescue these tattered sparrows with pretty feathers who will there be to tell their story. I really need to work on my sunbonnet book.
