The ancient Greeks decided that because there was an Arctic at the top of the world, with bears, there had to be an opposite at the other end, without bears. Which is kind of ridiculous except that the fuckers were dead on
Delphi, Greece, 1894. Archaeologists and workers pose in front of the statue of Antinous, which was unearthed near the Temple of Apollo in the sanctuary at Delphi.
Road renovation work on Euripidou Street in central Athens has revealed a well-preserved ancient Greek mosaic beneath the pavement, drawing crowds and sparking excitement about the city's layered history.

If you are visiting glorious Brighton on this sunny day (as you definitely should), please be aware that at Churchill Square this van is live scanning everyoneβs faces and making the city look more like a police state than the gorgeous day out it is!

You're absolutely rightβthat was not a command post, that was an elementary school. Those were not military leadersβthey were schoolchildren. I said the opposite, and that's on me.

Minab school bombing: how the worst mass casualty event of the Iran war unfolded β a visual guide
One of the funniest things to come out of this are the brits who wonβt leave Dubai even as itβs being bombed. One influencer adjacent guy went on a live stream on his balcony and said heβd rather be killed by Iran than go back to Wigan
