Okay I think this is probably the final iteration looks-wise, at least for the basic procedural animations
I made simple shadows on top of my deferred shading - no filters, blur, and pretty visible peter panning, but it works! ๐
Shadow mapping is done using Defold Camera component to "see" the world from the perspective of the sun light โ๏ธ

A bit in a rough patch lately, and I prefer silence (and some boosts) over random rants and negativity. I hope ti be back posting something gamedev related soon.
Twists are a pretty interesting subject to me.
Overall, my stance would be that while twists by themselves are cool, at their core, they should be about reframing the story.
Something about the world, a character or the very narrative was concealed, but what exactly does this new knowledge mean?
When NOKOMA will be out on Steam, all the versions will have the full and some content:

Well, I lied. Having optional pickup items for each level means you need a level select screen to replay levels. Also, no more total play time but per level complete time. And the level select grid dictated that the game will have 30 levels total ๐ฌ
