I say don’t worry about it and go for a pattern you love - you can do it!
I don’t think there is a delusional selection 😊

Oh, I love it!
Maroon skinny triangular knitted shawl/scarf about half way complete. It has an all over lace leaf pattern (though difficult to see because it hasn’t been blocked yet) Pattern: Leaflette by Justyna Lorkowska Yarn: Quince & Co. Piper, Colorway: 613 Laredo
#ShowMeYourKnits WIP!
I started this shawl last year to give it to my mother-in-law for Christmas. I got bored / didn’t want to stress over it so I decided to put it on hold. I’ve picked it up again, maybe a gift this year? There is always Christmas 2026 😁
Pattern/yarn info in alt text 🧶
Beautiful! 😍
Black beret style hat folded so it just looks like a circle. Seven simple cables radiate out from the center like spokes.

#ShowMeYourKnits this week is cables
Pattern: Cabled Cap by Woolly Wormhead
Yarn: Long Way Homestead Icelandic Single Ply, color Natural
(the yarn was from a breed of the month club as seen in the second picture. I tried to make different hats with them each month!)
Knit bonnet on adult woman. Yarn is from Long Way Homestead monthly club.
Knit bonnet laid flat on floor. Yarn is from Long Way Homestead monthly club.
#ShowMeYourKnits - I thought I’d share Beloved by tincanknits. Now my guess is most people make the bonnet for babies, but like most (all?) tincanknits patterns, they offer everything in all sizes from baby to adult. Sometimes I (we?) need an adult sized bonnet… just because we can (and should?) 😁🧶
I have a particular fondness for black cats ❤️🐈⬛
The color works- I also really like the pooling of the main color
I love the colors and their progression across the body. It makes me want to knit it! 😍
Such a special gift ❤️
I’m more lenient with socks, so I’d probably just finish it, but if it bothers you, frog it!
Thank you for this week’s theme. It is so nice reading everyone’s posts. Building and protecting community, indeed.
I do the same, too. I am not capable of counting more than 20 at a time. 😁
Fuck yea! That is joy and care for sure 😁
Neat! And so special for your niece
Two small silhouette cats about 4 inches tall sitting on a mantle. One is solid dark grey and the second one is marled brown and cream.
A white simple knit bird sitting on top of a pile of knit scarfs.

This week I’m sharing a little bit of joy. These are tiny knit projects made of scraps that I gave away as gifts. ❤️
Even the names of the patterns make me happy-
Tiny Window Cat and Bluebird of Happiness both by Sara Elizabeth Kellner

Superb! Great color combinations
It sort of reminds me of oxbow cardigan www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
My first thought as I was scrolling through - now that is Autumn! Very lovely 😍
Large triangle shawl in brown and orange with different stripe sections. The triangle point is hanging down the back of the wearer facing away from the camera.
Close up view of the shawl in progress
#ShowMeYourKnits this week is Autumn themed - here is my “The Golden Hour” by Andrea Mowry
Knit using leftover yarn - looks like Hudson + West Forge and Magpie Fibers Nest Worsted.
I don’t really remember knitting it, but I think the sections were different enough to keep it interesting
🧶
Ohhhh, nicely done!
I love the long cat! So cute!
Same. I really like the squirrels! Is there a draw string at the top or is that decorative? I’m curious if it is, do you draw it up?
I just looked up Leafbird and now I want to make it, too
Nice! And what a thoughtful gift!
Light blue knit tee with graphic triangle motif
Reverse side of tee shirt showing vertical stripes.
Finished my “New Terrain” by yamagara using Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino colorways Soft Mint and Soft Blue held together. (It’s reversible!)
I’m really pleased with how it came out. This is the second pattern by yamagara I’ve knit and I am really happy with both.

Beautiful!
I came to reply I really like the color and yarn choices too! 😍
I don’t watch a ton of SciShow, but I appreciate it. I used to watch Eons with my daughter when she was younger and into dinosaurs (that I think he is also affiliated with)
