I talk about this Star Trek TNG episode a lot.

God I love that movie. The Matrix came out the same year and had stunning computer generated imagery, but nothing beats the engrossingly real and tactile world of eXistenZ. I feel like it did a better job of emphasizing the horrors of virtual reality in a way that seemed plausible.

Moving all of my notes to Times New Roman is so deeply satisfying. Everything feels like pre-web documentation. My notes look like they were written by Bell Labs.
