Time to lean into our expertise and speak up.
We should determine if downsizing the National Weather Service, off-loading emergency responses, & policy that ignores climate change contributed to deaths in Texas. If not, environmental disasters will become the new gun violence - deaths we shrug our shoulders about & accept.
We have a moral obligation to speak out to help our patients.

Today I am calling my reps to object to international students who are legally in the country having their visas revoked without committing a crime. This action is reprehensible and wastes resources that could be used to protect us from real criminals.
Consumer protections have evaporated. Call your reps today to oppose higher overdraft fees for banks.
