For all this time, I've refrained from posting, or even liking posts that were anti-american. Because I (rightly) assumed that the Trump-regime would deny me entry to the US. To visit my old Dad. And now he's gone, and I don't care anymore.
Fuck Donald Trump, you miserable piece of shit..
The last time i was in the US, a lovely Mexican granddad bought me a drink and said, "enjoy it while we can, because we're all going to be deported!"
That was in November 2024.
My old Dad died in California. I still think that I can e-mail him with updates about his grand-kids and great-grandkids.
His passing is very sad. But it has liberated me from my silence.
As a European, I was afraid of travelling to America.

Driving back from north Netherlands today, every time we passed a motorway filling station, we shouted "F*** Trump!"
By my calculation the US fuel price is now about €0.77 per litre
In the Netherlands the price is upwards of €2.28 a litre
If Americans had to pay European gas prices, Trump would be hanging from a lamppost by midnight
We filled up on diesel yesterday for €2.22. Driving home from our holiday in Drenthe today, we clocked rising prices, up to €2.53.
As we passed each filling station, we shouted "F*** Trump!"
