If I hate something it doesn't go on my plate or gets left behind. My mom was a horrid cook and I grew having to eat it all. When I became an adult I said never again will I eat something I don't like.

The one exception is if im a guest...then I'll eat at least one bite.

Funny fact about life in Maine... everybody works at least 2 jobs, if not 3. We have to to keep society functioning. The low population is great...and not so great all at the same time.

They weren't keeping me in hours anyway, so it's kind of a shrug, but very rude and inexplicable. No idea what I did. I've never even had a complaint from anyone. 🤷

Is it weird to drink my tea with a spoon? My great grandfather poured his into a saucer and slumped it, so I feel like the spoon is at least quieter.

Was reading a thread about a doctor telling a depressed patient that they just needed to read the Bible...and was reminded of the time I was told my son's autism could be cured if I'd just let them do an exorcism.

Having a lie in on my first day off. It's 60°+. After 16 weeks of snow, below average temps, and grey sky, it's so nice to just lay here with the door open and listen to the silence of the forest taking a deep breath. The dogs are out lounging in the sun, too.

I didn't even get that because we work out of the office fully. They just removed my access to the scheduling app. 🤷 Nothing said. No text, email, note,...nothing.
