Essentially, SSA has asked National Sciences, a non-profit, to compile all the information possible for them to use to decide if 1) Chronic Pain should be added to the Blue Book for Disability and 2) treatment options that those with chronic pain need to have access to.

I'd like to share some news that came through last week. I've been selected to serve on a committee to plan a workshop by National Sciences for the Social Security Administration, "Exploring the Treatment and Management of Chronic Pain and Implications for Disability Determinations: A Workshop".
