saw HOPPERS. it was a sheer delight!!!!
the only two human foods that our cats will eat are butter and whipped cream
it was a formative song for me. it has this subtly ominous, threatening atmosphere to it that i'd never really heard in music before & have since identified as one of my favorite music qualities.
i was addicted to twitter for like 10 years and i'm still, years after quitting it, recognizing ways in which it fucked up my brain, and taking steps to unfuck it.
Seth's last four watched on Letterboxd: REDUX REDUX, SORCERER, SCREAM 7 and PULP FICTION
SORCERER is overrated, SCREAM 7 is underrated, PULP FICTION is properly rated and i can't speak to REDUX REDUX because i've never heard anyone mention it before #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched #filmsky
i strongly believe art is subjective, etc etc, but i also don't understand how anyone can listen to "salvatore" by lana del rey and not be moved
every now and again, twitter was beautiful
holy shit this looks awesome
not proud of how hard i laughed at this
what's even wilder is that in rare situations, hens can make a full-on transition and literally become a rooster. it doesn't happen often but it's been documented. www.livescience.com/13514-sex-ch...
oh yeah. hens in all-female flocks will often take on masculine traits when there's no rooster; in addition to crowing, whiskers has also grown HUGE spurs on her feet. it's cute too because her crow sounds like like a rooster's except it's not nearly as loud π
damn, i really like the look of these graphics. awesome incorporation of low-rez sprites in a modern 3D environment.
we have an all-hen flock of chickens. one of them (whiskers) has started crowing, which is something hens sometimes do in the absence of a rooster in their flock, and the head hen (kiki) does NOT like it. everytime whiskers crows, kiki starts squawking up a storm.
i'm hesitant to recommend it because most people seem to hate it, but it was my favorite of the year
"this happened to me," as if i was the passive victim of some outside force
this happened to me a few days ago with a nutrition bar
review
i feel like OBAA, eddington and civil war all got a lot of hate because of specific expectations that weren't met
Excerpt from a Hope Reeves opinion piece in the NYT: "Iβve come to realize that the reason I disliked βOne Battle After Anotherβ wasnβt the fault of the film. Had I gone into that theater hoping for nothing more than entertainment, I would have walked out happy β it was, after all, wickedly funny, superbly acted and expertly made." https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/08/opinion/one-battle-after-another-weathermen.html
it's so refreshing to hear someone say this about a movie they didn't like
Iβm so excited!!!
not to get political on main but: is there any realistic, clear-eyed argument that humans won't ultimately destroy ourselves via climate change? the technology is there but the political will isn't, and i'm wondering if there's any serious argument to be made that we might actually get out of this.
man i love the prodigy. every time i put them on i'm like "why don't i listen to the prodigy more often?"
maybe my credibility's shot because i liked scream 7, but scary movie 6 looks like dogshit
goddamn that's a good cast
Love to subscribe to a cool new youtube channel because I saw one video and then go to the channel page and it's the creator talking about why they're done with the channel
omggggggg that sounds unbearable.
yeah, totally. i tried to only include movies that actively made me angry to some degree, as opposed to just meh underwhelming stuff. also i keep hearing people say that dashcam is infuriating - how come? i haven't seen it.
tbh this probably isn't the most accurate list, because i've seen a ton of terrible but unremarkable low-budget horror movies from the 80s that i just don't remember. like i'm sure some of the jason sequels should be on here, but i've forgotten everything about them.
