Looking at my list of recommended episodes, Seasons 3 and 4 have the most amount of stars. Seasons 1 and 2 the least.
The second episode of Season 4 launches them 10,000 light years closer to the Alpha quadrant so the Kazon are done with for good. (so far)
Seven adds some great variety to the cast compared with Kes, so I think episodes from Season 4+ have been better overall. But there are many gems in 1-3.
Umm... they all mostly blend together, but there's a clear separation between Seasons 1-3 and 4+ when Seven of Nine joined the show.
In the first 3 seasons, the big enemy is the Kazon and they are super lame. Season 3 finale is them finally leaving Kazon space and entering Borg territory.
I finished Season 4 a few days ago, and watched a few episodes of Season 5.
