remember, if the democrats wanted to win (or cared), they would have run on a platform of legalizing weed. the cynic in me says they think they benefit more from the ill effects of keeping it illegal.

it seems like the real answer is to retroactively undo the tax cuts to claw the money back, or use the uk's surveillance state capabilities to find out who voted in the tories' elections and fine all of them with a one off fee for embezzlement. #taxcutsaretheft

to use the uk as a proxy, i find it odd the tories can steal so much money out to the rich as "tax cuts" it destabilised the economy, get kicked out over it, and then complain that labour is raising taxes to make up for the "black hole" shortfall that the tories' hid through fraudulent accounting.

also very interested in seeing how "readable" pnut output is given their claims, using it for obfuscation, and profiling execution for analysis/detection.

the problem with the mindset of choosing the lesser evil is that it doesn't work when the lesser evil actively enables the greater evil. we're falling for the trap of a local maximum.
