Sending hugs to everyone for whom today is not a happy day.
I hope so too. It's just so good.
And the story of how it came to be should be an inspiration to artists/performers/writers everywhere. It has been to me.
The significance of Disney/Marvel releasing Thunderbolts* on the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month is not lost on me.
The last time something on Broadway inspired me to go see it multiple times was David Byrne's American Utopia.
#OperationMincemeat has now become my latest obsession to see again and again a next time I'm bringing a friend.
I'm not saying you are owed anything or you should only support if it benefits you, just that it hurts a little not to be included or acknowledged for being there from the beginning.
When you've cheered on, advocated for, and supported someone/thing as much as you could, it stings a bit to be left behind the moment they start to see success.
Happy Arizona Statehood Day to those looking for something to celebrate today.
I really wanted to like Love Hurts, but it just wasn't very good. There were some decent fight scenes, but no character development to make me care about the outcome.
Did I miss something?

I could never live in that. Stay a night or two, maybe.
Fun times were had at the Murder Mystery Company's holiday party last night when I was awarded Best Suspect of 2024.
I still haven't recovered from that episode of The Last of Us.
This is a full circle moment for me. My improv journey started in Phoenix when I was a child. It was my mom's idea and I took to it like a duck to water.
To come back home for this is very special to me. I wish she was still here so she could see it.

#improv friends and anyone in #arizona who's up for an adventure:
Come to SAVI Fest, Arizona's newest improv festival this Presidents Day weekend. I'll be performing as part of their first ever Ensemble Team.
A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.
Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
Happy #Caturday
Absolutely been singing it this way for a bit. Get fun and confused looks at karaoke.
I went to look it up. That was a mistake...
Some Shel Silverstein would be a good addition as well.
There are a couple of novellas released in 23 and 24 that I will pick up when Stone and Sky releases this year.
*deep breath*
I've read up to Amongst Our Weapons (2022). There are 12 up to that point including some novellas and short story collection.
There are also graphic novels, but I haven't started on those.
I'm excited for the next one to come out. Totally addicted to this series.
Back for another @latenightseth.bsky.social taping.
Ugh. I hate that.
Nope. Now I just taunt them for sport.
I could go for some split pea soup on a night like this.
Nothing says "ominous" like church bells on a snowy evening.
Know a few people here who got it this round. Sounds like a nasty strain.
Ugh. Praying that I can avoid that. Glad you are seeing the other side.
